My siblings and I stopped in for a quick bite after having drinks at a nearby hotel bar for my sisters 50th birthday. The waitstaff was great and allowed us to bring in our own cake and sing happy birthday without a cake cutting fee or per slice service fee. Bravo Brooklyn Diner for making us feel welcome and not being one of the last in a dying breed of NYC eateries that cares about its customers.
Vintage diner with classic hits from the late 20th, prices are a bit high but everything else was perfect
Best brunch in midtown. Love the egg white omelette or try their bennies.
Brooklyn Dinner has a great cheeseburger platter. The burger is juicy. The cheese gives it an extra flavor. The aioli sauce is delicious on the burger and is a nice dipping sauce for the French fries. The french fries are very crispy and flavorful with parsley. The barbecue chicken sandwich is also tasty and filling. No room for dessert but, will have to go next time.
We enjoyed the food. I thought the service was quite slow. Our waiter brought my wine with the meal and did not check back often. We still enjoyed it though. The ambiance is nostalgic and fun.
The food is tasty & plentiful. Be sure to verify portions, since most items are enough to share. The service is thorough & friendly.
Love this place! The hostess was great to change our table, because we're booth people. Our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing and the food was excellent. We had their specialties, the chicken pot pie and a Brooklyn burger, and were 100% satisfied.
It looks like a "tourist trap" but in fact it's just plain great, upscale diner food -- a kind of fantasy New York experience, only it's real. The portions are BIG, so beware! The service is friendly and the place is clean. Yes, go!
I love this place. The chicken soup is fantastic. The burgers are huge and good. Had the Cobb salad this time. It was top notch too. Next time I'm trying the chili. Would like to try a hot dog but at twenty bucks seems a bit too expensive.
