We have been to Brooklyn Diner 3 times on this trip, 2 different locations. We have had 3 totally different experiences. For the most part we like the diner. Food is not 5 star but good. Service was good 2 of the 3 times. Locations are good. Fun for a casual meal.

An easy dinner before a Carnegie concert. Irish seafood salad is good, but seafood overcooked. Crampef quarters, but very good service. Good craft beers on tap.
We have been here before and like the food a lot. You will get great food and a friendly, service oriented staff. We felt very welcome.

The BEST EVER!
Brooklyn Diner is one of the few restaurants where you can get a quick and easy meal if you're going to Carnegie Hall. The menu is a diner menu--burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a dozen standard entrees--nothing special but well-prepared and good. The chicken soup with matzo ball, tennis-sized, is loaded with carrots and celery; the desserts are tempting. The service is pleasant and creditable. Convenience is one of the virtues of the diner.
