A halfblock from our hotel - perfect for breakfast before heading for the airport. It's a sweet little diner at 7th Ave. and 57th St. It did get pretty noisy inside. We had six people in our party and so we had a variety of items - one of my only complaints was that the yolks in the poached eggs that came with my Eggs Benedict didn't ooze - they were hard cooked. Another was the fried potatoes - large cubes of fried potato - I would have been happier with hash browns or home fries.
Great diner in the heart of New York with tasty, high quality food. Great service to top it off!
What a fun place! The chicken pot pie is a “must have.” Best and biggest I have ever had. The pastrami sandwich was good, but not worth the price, especially since it does not come with fries.
Very good service by Saul our server! Delicious chicken pot pie! Great place for quick dinner before show @ Carnegie Hall
Very good French fries and chocolate shake not too sweet and very chocolatey. Very nice waiter.
Nice place, if you want to try a diner, this is the place!! Good food friendly staff, you cannot be disappointed.
So we had great service. All the food was fine except for mine. We have visited this spot everytime we visit nyc. First time it was a little off. Again, only my food was questionable .
This is our go to place for breakfast in the city Great service and delicious food. The French toast is amazing. Pastrami hash phenomenal Great eggs and crispy bacon
A lot of hype. Definitely not the best burger in New York. The menu quotes, the food critic, Gail green, as saying it’s the best. Pay attention folks, Gail Green, now deceased, stopped being a food critic 24 years ago For the price the burger was fair, but wasn’t medium rare. It was well done. The waffle sandwiches are made with big soggy waffles. An oversized gloppy meal. Not eager to return. But the staff, especially the maître d’ was fabulous.
