A new favorite - great for simple casual every day dining and there is good food and good service. A real go-to spot.
What a nifty restaurant - a friend and I really enjoyed our meal here. Guy greeted us at the door. He was just so accommodating. I have food allergies and had noted that on our reservation. He was ready and willing to take care of me! The prices were very reasonable. I had a very decadent meal of a vanilla milkshake and a slice of cheesecake ... yikes! But yummy! And it was just what I wanted. My friend had a hamburger and fries. She enjoyed her meal immensely also. Thank YOU!
The key factor was uniform good and friendly service. Guy in particular was excellent.
Our waiter John was great but the manager Nick made the experience incredible.
Always dependably good. Only complaint - the Chinese Chicken salad has changed over the years. I preferred the original with lots of mandarin oranges and the peanut sauce. The last rendition not as good.
Love their chicken soup. Our friend from Toronto were very happy with their meals. Always a good choice.
Good but no pastrami!
Went for breakfast, place was packed, I learned long ago to have a reservation. Service was excellent, always is. Food consistently fresh and delicious. Never disappointment!
We stopped here because it was close to our hotel on West 57th Street. We expected very little because it is called a diner but we were very pleasantly surprised. We were a party of four, were greeted warmly and seated immediately. We had a variety of foods, ranging from chicken soup to turkey burgers and pastrami sandwiches. Everything was plentiful and delicious, service was excellent. We all enjoyed it very much and vowed to return on our next trip to New York.
