I wish I wouldve gotten this sooner I love this printer. I work from home and must print out my forms each day. With my inkjet, I calculated that it was costing me more than twice as much to print than this one does. I followed the advice of many others on here with the starter cartridge and was able to double its life before purchasing a new toner cartridge. Perfect for small business I've put this printer (or equivalent models, the companies seem to change model numbers periodically) in about 6 different offices now, and they've all worked perfectly. Even if the office needs a big workhorse color laser, its still worth it to get this printer as a second printer, since it also works as a copier and fax machine. Still the Best!!! The Brother Printer is still the best, most reliable and easy to use. This one takes up very little space but has all the functions needed for a small office and great for the home office.
Works great! I bought this for my office to replace an older laser fax machine that had cost three times as much and did less things. We are very happy with the quality of print and the price! We only use it on a dedicated phone line for faxes, but I've used the copy function and it worked as well as our giant leased Minolta BizHub! We could buy one of these every month for what our Minolta costs us!
Full featured and works perfectly I have used Brother Multifunction machines both at work and at home for over 20 years. This version is very stable and trouble free. You just can't beat a laser printer, the flat bed scanner works well as does the feed function, copying is simple and accurate, scanning is a breeze and colors come out perfect. Love that it is so quick! One page printing with the new laser is so much faster than our old ink jet! Took a little extra time to figure out the Mac and Brother connection. Customer service was very helpful.
Very Solid Printer I was tired of my Photosmart printer sucking up so much ink, and decided to give the Brother Printer a try after reading a number of reviews on it. I'm very happy with it, it is fast and does everything I need. Obviously this model does not do color, but after I thinking about it, it was apparent that I use color very seldom anyway.
Recommend this one Easy set up and have not had the first problem out of it. Laser printer much easier to deal with. We like it....and the price is good.
