Great multifunctional machine This is my second brother multi-function machine. The printouts are excellent quality and it was very easy to install. The price was a bit higher than I wanted to spend but was comparable to other stores.
Excellent all-in-one We use this Brother all-in-one in our home office where we run our business. It, like all other Brother printers and faxes I have used, works great and is reliable. I recommend using only Brother toner cartridges unless you can get re-manufactured ones from a trusted source.
Would be better if it permitted two-sided printing (in one pass). I've used it as printer, fax and copier. It worked fine in each instance. It has many interesting and useful features -- one that caught my eye is the ability to choose output quality, for example, to save toner. I would like it better if it had duplex printing.
Awesome and Fast! I love this unit. It print real quick and you can buy a toner for 15.00 generic that will print 2400 pages. Unbelievable value if you don't need to print color not to mention it's a full service copier also. Great product and saves you tons of money compared to those cheap desk top printers where the ink is 30.00 and prints 300 pages.
Good performer but not sturdy This works as well as my DPS 7200, but the paper tray appears to be very fragile. I don't know how it will do in the long run. I am not getting rid of my DPS 7200.
Great little multi-function printer It works exactly as expected. Printing is great, the autofeed scanner is awesome, and the copier works as expected. (Haven't tried the fax, but I assume it works just as well). What's more, the price-point is perfect for a home office. It doesn't duplex scan, but there are software packages out there that do 'false-duplexing', which allows you to scan a stack of papers, front side, then again the rear, and the software does the magic to rearrange them automatically. great bang for buck exactly meets our needs at reasonable cost. Low cost going forward big selling point also. Very satisfied with our purchase.
Great Multi-Function Value Would consider buying two more...if I can. There was a restriction on number I could purchase...so may have to find another way to get me two more.
100% awesome machine. GREAT for home office. Cartridge price is LOW. I spent days choosing which printer to replace an HP laser printer. The thing is, I could buy an ink cartridge for $78 for my HP laser printer, or for $60 more, get a sweet laser printer with a scanner and fax! The cartridges for the Brother are currently $43.99 - WOW that price is SO RAD! The reviews are all great for a reason. Print full page documents fast. No huge monster noises when it prints, either.
