Excellent Value Very good printer for the price. I read some reviews that said it was loud; I would disagree. Much quieter than my prior competitive printer, and quickly goes into sleep mode when not in use, which makes it completely silent.
2nd one This is perfect for our small office. The single sheet feeding works great. Works as expected and it allows us to fax with our Magic Jack too... j
Great Printer Great Price I truly love this printer, fax, and copier, the toner is a great deal and it doesn't dry up like my inkjet printers that whenever I went to use them the pages would be blank because of the ink drying up. I highly recommend this printer.
Pretty Good I had a Samsung MFC before this which the document feed broke after medium use and a few years. This scanner is faster and can scan Legal size through the document feeder which the Samsung could not. The only negative I see on the Brother is that the scanner software is pretty poor. I'm using ScanWorks CloudScan (Google it) which is a free option instead.
We like it! There are a number of features we have not taken the time to figure out, but overall we really like it. You hit the print button and it prints quickly. Copies nicely, too. And mine it plain out quiet. Some day I'll read up on it's other features, but this one does the basics very well. I'd definitely buy this printer again. Update a couple months after purchase. we've used more features and really like this printer. The Brother's people know what they are doing.
Best Buy This is some much cheaper than a laser jet ... it prints forever compared to a laser jet. I really like the ability to scan to a pdf or a text file. It's easy to use ... a relatively small footprint....and is quiet in use and when asleep.
Great price Awesome printer. Pros: Does everything its suppose to do. Great quality and prints fast. I've had this printer for 6 months now and I print moderate so I've had to change the toner once about 1 month ago. Cons: Nothing

perfect for small offices I bought these as replacements for standalone inkjet fax machines and standalone laser printers. They are fast, economical, versatile, reliable, and simple for the uneducated to use. The only gripe I could have with them is that they are bulky, I could see them being able to have their height chopped by about 3 inches, but this is me trying to find a fault. I have 8 of these in deployment, and I am looking to get another 13.
