Great value! I bought the MFC-7360N several months ago and am completely satisfied with my purchase. By my reckoning I have almost saved the price in the printer by printing B&W documents on it rather than on my inkjet printer. Finally a printer that just prints well (and scans well enough) What I needed was a printer that: - Would start up reasonably fast - Work consistently (start, connect, print/scan, stop) - Print fast and accurately - Have a good flatbed scanner (this one has both a feeder and flatbed). Love it! This is a great printer as well as fax machine and scanner. I still prefer to use my copy machine for copies, but we use this machine for everything else. Great product!!
Great printer + software marred by a few flaws. I managed to get this printer for little less than $100 on December 2011. Compared to the other MFC printers from other manufacturers like HP or Canon, this printer is very compact and comes with a sheet scanner. Yes, it comes with a 700 starter toner, but you can buy remanufactured ones for less than $20. Yes, the lcd screen is very dim and hard to see too. Don't install Paperport softwarre The printer is awesome, but the driver disc recommends installing Paperport which apparently is a cool program except that the recent versions hog CPU resources (90%+) all of the time. A web search verified this is a common problem with the program. It's something about an indexing/search function that constantly searches your hard drive for documents. Great price and purchase Up and running quickly no hassles, this is my second Brothers laser printer very happy with the products. For the money you can't beat it.
Brother printer,scanner,copier I am very satisfied with this product. It is very fast and prints very clearly. I like the fact that it will work independently from my computer as a copier. The only problem I had was trying to use it with a computer using Ubuntu, but that is probably a problem with the Linux system and not Brother itself. I will recommend this printer.
Very good machine, one or two small flaws. I purchased a Brother MFC 7820N back in 2005, and it had given me years of great service. However, a few months ago, it finally decided to quit communicating with the computer, so it was time to replace it. Excellent Product. I systematically went through all the printer reviews before deciding on this Brother monochrome printer. The two problems which I found consistently with the color printers were (1) the high cost of replacement cartridges and (2) the often times mediocre color print quality which was produced.
