overall summary i love this printer. it is an all in one function printer that i need. the ink is very cheap to refill. it is only less than $5 to refill. home use. excellent. i would recommend the item to others.
A great little printer! I don't have a great deal of printing to do but my old Lexmark ink cartridge chose to go dry just when I needed to print a boarding pass or tax return. Now my new Brother monochrome printer will be ready when I'm ready. On the test pages I've run, it's just been a pleasure. Simply set it up according to the printed quick start instructions. Product works as advertised but not exactly what I was expecting I bought this thinking it was a wireless network printer. However, upon receiving it I discovered that it was a network printer but not wireless. So, I had to run network cable from my router to the printer, no easy feat since my router is my uverse box. Easy Set-Up! Works great for my older parents! Purchased this for my older parents to replace an all-in-one that was no longer working. The set-up instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. They've had no trouble following the directions to operate the machine. They are enjoying all of the features this machine provides. Truly a great deal for the money.
Nice and easy Got this from Amazon in earlier October 2012 for $129 plus Prime "free" shipping. Keep your eyes on the pricing because currently in late October (three weeks later) the same machine on Amazon is $175.00, so if you have the time to look around, prices seem to vary vastly depending on the time of year and perhaps the retailer.... It works But minus 2 stars for display It works great with my Mac. It looses its connection on my network and I even assigned it, its own ip address. Prints fast, and is loud. You can do the setup via the web portal of the device by typing in its ip address. Better then programing it via the controls. Worst part of this printer. The display is not back lit. Great value Very easy to set up and connect to your computer. Excellent quality for faxes, prints and copys. The scanner is simple to use and transfer to your e-mails. A great multifunction office tool.
Excellent all-purpose printer This printer works well as a printer, copier, and scanner. I haven't tried to fax yet, but everything else about it, including the footprint, is excellent.
Awesome First, this is a perfect All in One Printer for small business and office if you don't have to print in color. However, you should be patient during installation because it takes several times. Second, you got the job done perfectly, no paper reject, incoming fax drop and good energy saver. But a little bit noisy and heavy. In fact, this is the best deal you won't never have for the price. Hurry and get yours ASAP!
