Sat on the patio in a torrential rain storm completely by our own choice. Stayed dry. Ordered the nachos as a starter with pulled chicken. Nachos were stale; toppings were scarce; and chicken was bland. Son ordered a cheeseburger. Was very disappointed ate less than a quarter of it, coats in mustard and very dry. Server never asked if he liked. Husband ordered Cobb salad. Said it was nothing special. I order the seared tuna sandwich. Over cooked - I asked for rare to med rare. It was well passed that. Our server was too interested in playing games than serving us. Place has gone downhill since our previous visits.
I wanted a coffee after dinner but the restaurant did not have any coffee creamer, only milk. I like cream for my coffee, not milk. You Should definitely have 1/2 & 1/2 or Coffee Mate for people.
Burgers over cooked. Nachos little pork
So, in all honesty I cannot rate the food because we did not stay. We had made reservations at this restaurant for my wife's birthday never having eaten there. However, based on what I saw on the app, I expected a pleasant experience and a good meal We were seated outside and should have known there was going to be a problem because the check from the prior customers was left on the table. OK food with OK service priced too high made reservation and then was ask why I did not fill the reservation never again
Seeing a Broadway Play across the street and decided to have dinner at Bru Burger. Service was very slow, took 20 minutes before a waiter came to the table. Not overly crowded at the time. By the time we finally received our food, we only had 18 minutes to eat and ten minutes to get to our seats because of the delay in ordering. Food good, would eat there again just not on a show night.
My friend and I had been wanting to try this restaurant given good reviews and location. We went right before a show at the Aranoff, perhaps contributing to a busy night and lack of staff availability. While we were seated immediately, it took more than 30 minutes to be served water to drink. My drink order was taken within 10 minutes, however, he failed to ask if I wanted a call bourbon for my Manhattan - and came back more than 10 minutes later to ask.
