Although the service and food were great, the best part for our group was the ability to sit in relaxed atmosphere and talk for over two hours! No NEW YORK rush job here. No hovering over us as we were deep in conversation!
We have relied on Cafe Fiorello for years. The food is always fresh and delicious. I'm still finding new things to try. I have never had a bad meal here and the staff makes every effort to accomodate. Since it is just across from Lincoln Center, it makes a great place to stop for pre-theater dining without a stuffy atmosphere. The pizza is fantastic as is the burrata mozzerella!
We were a half hour late due to traffic and had an 8:00 show across the street at Linclon Center. I phoned that we would be late and upon arrival, we were willing to sacrifice and sit at an outdoor table right by the entrance because we felt bad about being so late. The maitre d insisted on a better table, found one right away, seated us, got us menus and water immediately and when the food came, it was delicious and fast. We never felt rushed though. The food was amazing and the raw bar is the absolute best. Our waiter was extremely helpful in helping us select appetizers. I would go back in a minute!
We loved the restaurant. Food was amazing...Our waitress was top notch and it was a great location...across the street from Lincoln Center. I will definately be back!!
lovely place--getting too noisy because so popular. Food amounts seemed sparser this visit. Not so sure I'd rush back again
The food was very fresh and simply prepared. Nice presentation with nice flavors, not overly salted. The trout was moist and the tagliatelle bolognese was very tasty. The tartufo made of vanilla and chocolate gelato with tiny chocolate chips was a nice size dessert to share and very delicious. The wait staff was very attentive at this very busy restaurant.
The food and the service were very good but it was very noisy.
Lots of great people watching, super tasty food and wonderful service
