Cafe Fiorello's greatest appeal is that it gets you out with astonishing speed in time for your curtain across the street at Lincoln Center. The Italian food is a bit pricey, though typical for the area, and it's good, but not equal to the fare of many rival ristorantes around the city. Cafe Fiorello is a great pre-concert choice. For fine dining, however, it's not an ideal destination.

Truly enjoyed the food, ambiance and service even though it is located across the street from Lincoln Center and is a tourists delight. The food is consistently good whether dinner or late night after a performance.

A CLOSE place to dine before attending a function at Lincoln Center. The specials were creative, I had the sole special cooked in a clay pot which was fantastic. The vegetable appetizer bar,a signature of the restaurant is an excellent way to see before ordering. The menu was a bit pricey but you are paying for the location directly accross from Lincoln Center. Our waiter was very skilled at handling the busy crowd yet still being attentive enough to provide great service. He even went out of his way to get us some of the fr... read more

One of the better places for a pre opera or ballet dinner. They get you in and out without the feeling that you are getting rushed. You have to love the Antipasto bar.

Everything was good but not great. Our server made excuses for a wobbly chair we asked to be exchanged. He bordered on being rude. Our drinks took a long time to come and our server came three times to ask us if we were ready to order. We felt rushed and yet the restaurant had many empty tables. We didn't check the wine list so I can't comment on that. Our food was cooked the way we wanted it which was a big plus.

I have eaten at Cafe Fiorello's maybe 20 times before Lincoln Center performances and have never ordered anything that wasn't perfectly done. Why this isn't noted as one of NY's finest is beyond me. Perhaps it is the busy nature of this restaurant or the convenience of the location - whatever the critics thought, to me, was just neglectful. Consistently delicious!

One of the best Pre-Lincoln Center restaurants. Dependable and certainly above average food. Be sure to look at the appetizer bar before being seated to see the wonderful choices available to choose from. It gets crowded before large attractions to LC, ie the opera, but somehow the staff remain pleasant. We were provided champagne and chocolate while we waited for our reservation, a nice touch. The pizzas are delicious and I've yet to have a disappointing meal there.
