Service was excellent. Ate outside which was comfortable , but a little noisy from traffic...particularly from a number of motorcycles...which was probably an unusual event.

It was great to celebrate being vaccinated with a spur-of-the-moment dinner with our daughter and her boyfriend at a long-time favorite Cafe Fiorello. The food was really good but the friendly and efficient service is what makes this restaurant special.

My buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Others enjoyed the Tony Bennett special of French toast along with sides of bacon. Attentive service and enjoyable brunch.

We ate inside in a comfortable booth. The menu has some great new items (eg, a baked eggplant stuffed with shrimp and crab), and the standbys, like veal cutlet parmigiana and veal chop, were as usual excellent. Service is professional and courteous, and the room is spacious and “covidized” well. (The 60 minutes limit on outside dining seems unrealistic, however.).

The food wasn't spectacular or even memorable and was overpriced. (I ordered the 3-vegetable entree.) I don't enjoy paying close to $5 for a cup of coffee. That's what coffee costs in a hotel and this isn't a hotel restaurant. The service and ambience were outstanding. It was lovely dining outside. If I had a pretentious "friend" or someone who was more into the superficial than substance, I'd recommend the restaurant. Since my friends aren't pretentious, I doubt that I'd recommend the restaurant. As I had indicated, the foo... read more
