Food was phenomenal. The only downside was HOW packed it was- to the point where walking to the restroom was nearly impossible.
Excellent food & location. We hit “rush hour” at 6 pm prior to a 7:30 Lincoln Center performance. Service was backed up by a very attentive maitre-d. We were even able to get in dessert for a very hungry 9 year old and made it to our seats with time to spare.
Been a favorite since I lived in NYC in the 80s. Food and service are always fantastic. Looking forward to the next time.

Needed a place for 6 people to eat before a 7:30 show at Lincoln Center. We arrived for our 6:15 reservation and the place was PACKED and buzzing. We were seated by 6:20ish. We ordered quickly and told our waiter we needed to be out by 7:15. The food came out QUICKLY and was very tasty. The short rib meatballs were excellent, as were the many vegetables (caramelized fennel, escarole and white beans, butternut squash lasagna). Good place for after theater dining. Only one issue is that you have to pay for bread.
Great place to meet a friend for lunch
The Pepperoni Veal Chop is INCREDIBLE. Great service, nice drink menu, and the food is OUTSTANDING!!
Very attentive and friendly staff. They lose some stars because our table was next to a divider that forced servers to bump against me several times. And I don’t take up very much space at dinner.
