Opera night Our server was attentive , nice and professional even thought he was rushed to get our order because we arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed, great smile and made us feel not rushed , thank you 🙂
The food is outstanding as always! The waiter was not very communicative but he was kind and the food came super quick.
Loved the place and the atmosphere, but the food, although OK, a little disappointing- veal too tough & chewy, not enough crab in the crab & avocado - little niggled like that. And the pistachio ice cream, although nice, was definitely not pistachio! But would give it another try and perhaps order differently.
The octopus appetizer is yummy. The salmon was tender and sweet, a generous portion served over spinach. The garlic bread is to die for.
Always a pleasure during the week at lunch. Adore the lasagne for two and we always even bring some home. Coffee is pricey and coming in individual pots which is very nice comes lukewarm which shouldn't be at this price. And the "loaf" of garlic bread at $9 is rather meagre.

where we were originally sat, it was very claustrophobic and the next table was incredibly loud, probably based upon the small space. The hostess moved us, so all was good after that. But there were plenty of other tables in the restaurant when we arrived. We should not have to have asked to be moved.
We ordered the 3/5 choices of appetizers that was spectacular and easily shared with 4 people. The lump crab on salad with avocado was tasty and light. This is the second time we have eaten here and it did not disappoint. Perfect place to go before a show or event in the mid town area.
