This is a good solid local restaurant. We went on a Saturday night in July. Our table was behind the new bar area in the north east corner of the restaurant. There were two tables for tow, we were one of those. The other three tables were of at least eight people which made for an extremely noisy room. We made sure we knew which part of the restaurant to ask for when we go back. My favorite place are the booths along the south side of the restaurant. It would be nice if they had a gluten free muffin or bread, for those who are seriously gluten free.
WENT AFTER THE THEATRE AT LINCOLN CENTER AND THERE YOU ARE.GREAT LATE NIGHT MENU,GREAT FOOD,GREAT WINE.GREAT SERVICE.WE HAD AN ARFUL WAITER LAST WINTER AT THIS LOCATION BUT DECIDED TO GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY AND WE ARE GLAD WE DID.THE OUTSIDE DINNING IS GREAT.
Great variety for guests of all ages and food lifestyles. The antipasto bar is always a great option. Food is delish. We had an amazing waiter who respected our pre-theater timing with no stress. Probably my 50th meal there over a couple of decades
Pizza and salad are fine, the rest of the menu is mediocre at best.
Loved the chocolate chip cookies. Best Manhattan I've had in awhile. Very pricey though. Good thing I was being treated lol!
The antipasti special was disappointing. Asparagus was tasty. Not much else. It seemed as if not much thought was put into making these vegetables appealing. Gelato scoops are so tiny. Just a bit more please. It looks cheap. Server did get us out in time for concert Lincoln Center.
The food was very good. The restaurant has a very nice hot antipasto bar.
I was in New York on business and was looking for somewhere to eat alone. I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable and had a table outside on a warm and crowded evening. The service was excellent and friendly and they were very willing to adapt a dish to make it vegetarian (there are plenty of vegetarian options). The quinoa and avocado salad was exceptional. I will return, hopefully with others next time.
