Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

We enjoyed our dinner very much as usual. The service was a bit slower than we have experienced in the past, but we got out on time for our opera so that was great.
As usual, awesome thin crust pizza and the antipasti table is always delicious.
We had to wait for the table. Our waiter Bryan was very good. There was a delay in receiving our meal also. Bryan was aware we had theater tickets and did his best to accommodate us. Unfortunately due to the two delays we were unable to have dessert. My husband had the lasagna, a house specialty. Very good!! Not your typical lasagna. They were out of my first choice, but the waiter suggested an alternative that was delicious- lobster linguine. Tables are close together in typical NYC fashion. La Fiorello remains the place to go if you like good food, attentive service, and don't mind the closeness of other tables. Prior dining before the opera, there is none better nor more convenient.
Good vegetables -- though not great. My chicken salad was very tasty. Nice glass of prosecco, gratis. Pleasant ambiance. Quiet at lunch so good to talk to your companion. Been here a million times. Always a decent choice, sometimes better than that foodwise.
I'm so disappointed that Fiorello's seems to be phasing out the antipasti bar. For more than a decade it has been my choice for a quick, delicious and fun option before Lincoln Center shows. During my last visit, all seafood items were completely removed making it less of an option for a dinner. Without full antipasti bar as a choice....Fiorello's is not my choice!
We like to talk to each other over our meals. I know! We are old fashioned. We asked for a booth in a quiet area. No problem. We were cheerfully escorted to a perfect booth and had a find conversation The waiter was funny and helpful. Someone brought warm, freshly backed cocolate chip cookies around. All in all a great experience- again!
Food was tasteful and portions were great. Attentive and professional wait staff. Perfect for pre and post theatre.
New theatre menu (4-8pm)was a bit uninspiring - service lacked the personal touch we have experienced here before. My spaghetti carbonara was okay - the pancetta was very chewy and fatty, not melt in the mouth as previously. All staff seemed rushed and a bit frantic. Shame as we have loved eating here in the past. It's convenient for Lincoln Center and the menu prices are reasonable.
