Menu or chef has changed, not for the better. Seemed much more expensive than in the past
This is a happening place. Saturday, 5:30 at Lincoln center is extremely popular. If you are going to the Ballet. Opera, symphony etc it is a great place to eat before. However if you want a quiet place pick a different place. They are very accommodating here and you can eat fast or take your time. Great food and service
My wife’s Christmas present - dinner and theater
This was one of the best restaurants I have enjoyed in the City in years. The food was great, plentiful and priced reasonably. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive. Bread replenishments etc. was automatic. The reservations were simple and efficient with re-confirmation call the day prior to our visit a great help. We were even able to move our time a bit later than the original reservation. We have found our new "go-to" spot in NYC!!!
Cafe Fiorello never disappoints! The food is consistently and dependably good! The scene is energetic and electric! And the service is beyond compare! For a restaurant that is so busy and so crowded, the wait staff is still on top of refilling water glasses and checking back frequently to see if we needed anything. We were a party of 5 -- pre-theater -- and our table was ready for us within 10 minutes of our reservation. We can't wait to go back!
It's always been one of our neighborhood favorites, and somehow it has recently gotten even better. It has the feeling of a restaurant that has been here a long time, and the comfort of tradition has been added to the fact that it's just a really good restaurant.
Hostess and waiter were welcoming, knowledgeable about food allergens and very accommodating. Brunch was delightful, everything done to perfection. Very busy, place was full but they did not rush us and let us enjoy a leisurely meal.
All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were there for a pre-theatre dinner and even though the restaurant was full and we were late for our reservation due to weather and traffic, we were served in a timely manner and still able to enjoy a cappuccino.
Cafe Fiorello is located right across the square from Lincoln Center. It is one of my favorite options for dining before the ballet or opera. t is well-organized, immaculately clean and has a cozy, continental atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The service is always friendly, if a bit hectic during pre-theater meals. A fabulous looking antipasti - for want of a better term - exhibition is the first thing you see along the triangular bar and it is ALWAYS packed with people who seem delighted to be tasting ... read more
