With it's sister restaurants, Trattoria del Arte and Bond 45, Cafe Fiorello has cut way back on it's menu and the crowds are so noisy it's not the special Italian it used to be. The food is good, the portions generous and the location perfect for the concert going crowd.

Recommend with a qualifier! I could not get them to take off the head of the Branzino! It was poorly filleted and NEVER was it a problem before. While I am not shy, I am not rude. Next time I will insist! Disappointing dinner.

We love Italian food. It is hard to go wrong, but Fiorelo took it to a new level. The fried artichokes were meaty with crisp edges and no oiliness. Best ever. The carbonara was super tasty and not overly rich. The crab tortelli in lemon was one of the most delicate pasta dishes I've ever had. Wonderful. The place is popular, ie busy, but our server was great. The first question asked was if we had a show to get to. We did, but we had left plenty of time so no one had to rush. I assume they would have expedited the meal if we... read more

We were four and we enjoyed every minute. I've been several times and it is my first choice before/after any event at Lincoln Center. Food choices and service excellent.

The dishes were different and surprising. Nothing served here is disappointing. I would not however order appetizers as the main meal is more than enough for most people. The fellow to my left had the veal chop. Across from me had the chicken parm pepperoni, both dishes were consumed greedily. The vegetarian offerings are also extensive. This place is right across from Lincoln Center. Service was great. They have a large staff.

Fiorello has for years been a wonderful place to dine when going to opera or ballet. It is jam- packed and very noisy before performances, but the service is amazingly swift and helpful. The food is varied and delicious, upper-bistro level. If you can afford the calories, the lavish chocolate mousse is not to be missed.
