Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

It's been a long time since I have eaten at Fiorello, and since we were doing a matinee at Lincoln center, it was a no-brainier choice, but for me, very disappointing. Let me hasten to say that our server was great, the noise bearable, since we were early arrivals, and the food was quite good. So what was the problem? Since it was lunch, and I am on a diet, and have an allergy to sulphate so, I had hoped for a nice salad selection, but there were only three on the menu, and my first choice, th E CaesR, had wine in the dressi... read more
While the nearness to Lincoln Center and the service are both pluses, the noise level makes conversation all but intolerable, and I found the food to be over fussy and not fully satisfying. Maybe if I had limited myself to pasta, but the shrimp salad special disguised the taste of the shrimp with acidic vinaigrette and peppers and onions, and my husband found his meal oppressively heavy.
Third visit to Cafe Fiorello. I like this place but it is correctly characterized as expensive. It's more of a special occasion place. This time I tried the pizza and found it to be fine. Just expensive. The service is good.
Delighted with the food and service . Seated promptly, staff very friendly and courteous.
Great food. The chesse polenta is fabulous and would like to see them keep it on the menue. Entrees very good size. Veal picatta was perfect. Wine a little expensive for quality. Wine I ordered off list was not available in the year I ordered and they tried to substitue a different year without asking. Only a small point. Noise a little high and I think better outside than in. Overall a great place to eat.
The service was good but the food unspectacular. It had been better in the past, but was a bit off on this evening. The food and wine were both pricey, even by NY standards. If you are in the neighborhood seeing a show at Lincoln Center this is easy to get to and the food usually reliable.
Great food, cheerful service and lovely ambiance - the seafood was excellent
If you're going to Lincoln Center or to see a movie at Lincoln Square, Cafe Fiorello is a good choice for lunch or dinner. The food is well prepared and reliably good, many times even very, very good. And the atmosphere is happily noisy, but not so noisy you can't have a conversation. The service is quick and attentive. Special requests are graciously accepted.
Love the place. We dine thee every Tuesday or Wensday. Staff make us fill like home and we never feel like that "old regulars" who are left on their own. Management always fulfill all our special needs as well as kitchen and stuff . We will be keep coming ....
