Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

Not shocking for a Saturday night 6PM. But cavernous ceiling adds to the noise level, which make conversation a loud voice affair. Food is very good though: Generous portion of nicely grilled salmon, pastas not overcooked.Servers know how to time things so you have plenty of time for the show. Prices fair for this part of town. Table placement could be a bit less claustrophobic, but this is NYC, after all.
We love Fiorelo's for dining before a Lincoln Center event. Food selection and preparation is always good. Wine list too, has always satified. Service is excellent. If you're a "people-watcher" Fioreo's has the crowd.
Located directly across the street. Antipasto bar is Ohhhh-Soooo-Tasty! The open-faced baked lasagna is a must for lasagna lovers. Unique. I have had it 5 times. Deserts are amazing. Excellent Service. Enjoyable either inside to outside. However, my partner had the most horrible dish. This is definitely the exception. Should NOT be on the menu. in menus is says, "lobster, shrimp on pasta with light tomato sauce". the waiter did warn that some "pulling go lobster out of shell" was required and some people complain. WE both sa... read more
Fiorello's is always good. The staff is terrific, the food is done well, the atmosphere is great. Try the thin-crust pizza and the risotto and the great veggies.
We came here for an early dinner after the theatre. We ordered caesar salads, which were sort of unconstructed. Fresh and delicious. Then we shared the Fiorello Lasagna. This was unlike any lasagna you will find. It looked more like an artisan pizza, but with all the components of lasagna. And the taste was fabulous. A perfect combination of sauce/cheese/meat on a bed of lasagna noodles. I will definitely be going back. Soon!!
Cafe Fiorello is always the right choice when in the neighborhood of Lincoln center . plan to go more often.
The swordfish was about the best I've had. Pesto ravioli was also excellent. Not too garlicky and very light. And, the tartufo was also about the best we've ever had. The ice cream and whipped cream were creamy and tasty. The chocolate shell wasn't that hard shell you need a hammer to crack that you usually get. The shell could've been dessert all by itself. Our server from near Oxford, England was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, but not intrusive. We also struck up a conversation with the couple at the next table whi... read more
We go there a few times a year and we always feel happy going there. The food is not haute cuisine but rather family italian style with a twist. It's consistently good and the service is great. We went there for dinner on June 21, 2015 and we have a new dish "Chicken parmesan" in the shape of an apple, it was flat and very unusual. It was very good. Go there and relax, you'll get tired of great family italian food. Highly recommend it.
We live in the neighborhood and, since rediscovering this place three years ago, have never been disappointed. The flat-style pizzas are especially good. Their veal is excellent. The service has always been superb.
