must try the polenta and fried ravioli the chicken parm is as big as a pizza!
Cafe Fiorello is perfectly located for a meal prior to attending a Lincoln Center event. The restaurant is large, yet divided nicely into smaller areas. Tables are closer together than the space would demand though. The outside seating area is also very large. We both had the house specialty, chicken paillard with salad. It was perfectly done and absolutely delicious. We will return to Cafe Fiorello!
The restaurant's commitment to their customers is exemplary. They made our first visit there very special. Great food, passionate service!
Went to Café Fiorello for Sunday brunch prior to seeing the King and I. We sat outside because it was a beautiful cool fall day. We all had salads and they were beautifully presented and delicious. I have chicken on my salad and it was pounded to an incredibly thin size. The basket of breads that they served were all homemade and mouth wateringly good. I would definitely come back for another lunch or even dinner.
We were seated In a private booth section. Service and food wonderful.
Perfect for an outdoor brunch. We had the frittata and the lemon pancakes, both delicious and the service was spot on.
Maitre 'd Carlo is a gem. He makes first time guests and old timers feel equally welcome. In fact, for a crowded, busy spot, the staff is uniformly gracious.
Making reservations was a breeze and we were greeted by the friendly staff .Our table was ready in a timely fashion, and dinner came out as desired. We didn't feel rushed but had plenty of time to walk across to Lincoln Center in time for our show. Perfect night to sit outdoors as well!!

The food is predictable and the service as well - it's all fine, but not inspired, it's wine list follows that pattern as well. Part of a group, which include Trattoria del Arte, Brooklyn Diner and the Red Eye Grill, all within less than a ten block radius, I sometimes think there is a main kitchen somewhere between all of them that sends the food out to its various restaurants... Easy enough to go to when you have a Lincoln Center show perf... read more
