Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

A pre-theater hot spot with fabulous, authentic Italian fare -- but you have to be aggressive about ordering, getting your food, and making it out of there on time for the show! Make your reservation a good two hours before the curtain call.
Went before a Lincoln Center show, and this place was mobbed, they jam people into every nook and cranny. Food was good, but for the prices paid, would have liked to have more than one inch between our table and the tables on either side of us. Had get up and to move our table anytime the adjacent tables needed to get out, and could hear every word that was said at the adjacent tables. Will return for a pre-show meal, only if other options in the area are booked up.
I love Fiorello's and have gone there for many years. Friday night was an exception to their usually fine service. We arrived at exactly 6:00 and were seated in a great booth. But, even though we advised our waiter several times that we had to make a 7:30 curtain at the MET, our order was not taken until 6:20. The food still had not arrived by 6:55 and we were getting panicked. We had to shovel it down when it came at 7:03 and rush across the plaza to just get into the theatre before the doors closed on the 1st act.
Hard to beat the combination of quality dining experience and convenient location. 6pm atart for 7:30pm ballet. Service was attentive to our need to keep things moving without feeling like we were rushing to finish. Have to say, the crab steak is great. Try it!
We have been going to Cafe Fiorello for years, with family and friends. There are many choices on the UWS, but we keep going back there. It is consistent, elegant and the most deliciously prepared food. It is always my first choice.
Without doubt, the most reliably pleasant and excellent dining for our pre-ballet dinners. Thank you.
Went to eat at 11:15 pm, had fast service and delicious food: spaghetti cacio e pepe with a broccoli rabe pesto, and their signature and unique open faced lasagna - added a surprisingly luscious sangria, and an affogatto for dessert- perfection! Highly recommended
It is a regular go-to restaurant for us when we go to Lincoln Center.
Cafe Fiorello's can be loud and crazy but the food is always good and you get plenty of it. Order one pizza and it feeds two. Order the Lasana and you have dinner for a second night. With these options the bill isn't bad, otherwise it can be pricey.
