Great food, cheerful service and lovely ambiance - the seafood was excellent
If you're going to Lincoln Center or to see a movie at Lincoln Square, Cafe Fiorello is a good choice for lunch or dinner. The food is well prepared and reliably good, many times even very, very good. And the atmosphere is happily noisy, but not so noisy you can't have a conversation. The service is quick and attentive. Special requests are graciously accepted.
Love the place. We dine thee every Tuesday or Wensday. Staff make us fill like home and we never feel like that "old regulars" who are left on their own. Management always fulfill all our special needs as well as kitchen and stuff . We will be keep coming ....
I eat here often. The food seemed a bit on the tired side, especially the veggie appetizers. And the menu seemed shortened with less variety then one might wish for. It has been my default place for lincoln center but this time I left thinking I need to find another place.
Café Fiorello is one of our favorite restaurants in Manhattan. We keep trying new places, but none of them compare to Fiorello. The food, the atmosphere and the service never disappoints. We will continue to make it our go to place whenever we are in Manhattan.
Our group of five had dinner here after seeing "The King and I" at Lincoln Center. It was easy to communicate with each other at the nice round table where they seated us. Although as it got later and the restaurant filled up, the noise level was pretty loud. This is the only drawback at this restaurant across the street from Lincoln Center. My eggplant parmesan was delicious, presented beautifully, and just the right size. Everyone else loved their food, too. The chocolate mousse dessert is not to be missed! The service was... read more
Welcome was extraordinary . . . the maître d asked the tourist family in front of me whether or not they'd like the best table in the house. My welcome was equally pleasant. Wait staff attentiveness and attitude were great.
Hadn't eaten at Fiorello in a while. Had a late dinner with my husband and a friend. My husband ordered a plate of three antipasti, which he enjoyed. I thought the leeks were quite good, the other two ok. My friend and I shared the spaghetti carbonara, which was quite good and the veal piccata, which was not good at all (overcooked, tough veal, no taste of lemon - kind of a tasteless dish) -quite disappointing. Fiorello's prices are now quite high and not related to the quality of the food. We could have eaten elsewhere in t... read more
Our original party was for six people . Four came on time and the other two brought two more - the maître 'd seated us next to one another with ease. Our waitress, Shana, was more than gracious and answered all our "Brunchie "questions. (all Italian.) When a minor mishap occurred, the manager was sooo accommodating and generous with special desserts and service- a must if you love brunch and service!!!! The "Italian breakfast all day" was my favorite.
