Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

Very cozy inside versus December weather outside.
As a frequent visitor to Lincoln Center, I enjoy having an affordable restaurant nearby for food and drinks after a performance. There used to be many such restaurants in the area, but now Fiorello's is it, and I'm glad they're still there. My friends and I appreciate being able to have martinis and a choice of appetizers. However, I wish there were a greater selection!
We had a very early reservation --4:30 -- because we had a 6 PM curtain at the Met. We were quickly taken to our table, but then ignored for quite a while. We finally ordered by a little before 5, the food came about 5:20, and we felt rushed the whole time we were eating. Not the usual Fiorello's experience. That said, it was a very busy day for them.
The service was excellent and attentive. Great spot when attending an event in Lincoln Center. However, we were disappointed that brunch was not served on New Year's Day.
It is a great restaurant. It is good for individuals.. couples, families and groups. The staff is friendly and also responsive and warm. I have come to this restaturant for 30 years.. and so I eat here more than any other one.. also because I do live in the neighborhood.
Always our first evening of dining when spending the weekend in Manhattan!
Great when going to Lincoln Center

At the end of our meal our waiter assured us we had time to order dessert and still get to our theater in plenty of time. I think the kitchen let him down. We waited as long as possible and dessert arrived as we were getting up to leave. The waiter was apologetic and asked us to come back after our show and our dessert would be on the house. We did come back and it was a good decision. The cheesec... read more
