A reliable restaurant in the Lincoln Center area. Food is consistently good, but not great (a bit more like home cooking). Portions are big. Service can be great, but beware of the occasional "am too good to be waiting tables" attitude.

The food was great. Lasagne is something special. Outdoor dining was great.

Mediocre at best. With an excellent location right across Lincoln Centre, you would expect this restaurant would capitalize on this. Service very slow and inattentive - had to wait an hour to get meal, they forgot the wine, brought us complimentary Prosecco at the end of the meal to amend their shortfalls - but they knew we were rushed to leave to make it to the theatre on time, so that was a bit baffling. Most importantly, food was just ok. Sauces overdone, kind of bland altogether. Was nice to sit outside. Good view of Lin... read more

We had an early dinner at Cafe Fiorello after my son ran the NYC Marathon. The location is excellent, on Broadway a block away from Central Park West, at 63rd/64th. The food was fabulous. We sat outside and the heat lamps made that very comfortable. It was quieter than eating inside, which is nice as my hearing is not the best. We enjoyed the Columbus Circle views and ambiance. The service was very good even though the place was hopping. Overall, an excellent and memorable dining experience. I have already recommended the Ca... read more

Wonderful service and a welcoming environment. We enjoy the upscale Italian menu in a pleasant setting. We prefer to go during off-hours so that it isn't quite as busy. The food is certainly pricey, but the portions are generous; the Caponata is delicious; ditto, the Pasta with Shrimp and Lobster, and the Branzino.

Has it ups and downs but great as a restaurant when attending a Lincoln Center show. Use to go more often even if not going to a show but never as good as it was a few years ago even though they try. Very loud and squashed in seats. Very rare service is not good. They train their people very well. Food quality goes up and down over the years. It's a give and take-lol. Most of the time it is very good.

This is a good restaurant for Lincoln Center area dining. Food is good, servers understand that you have to get to an event at Lincoln Center on time and are congenial and professional. In all ways a step above just getting a pre-theatre meal: delicious well-prepared offerings served professionally with a responsive wait staff. Because it is popular, it is important to make a reservation. Because it is popular, table service can be somewhat crowded and noisy, but not the terrible decibel levels of many contemporary restauran... read more

We had a 5:15 reservation for a 7:30 ballet performance across the street at Lincoln Center. When we arrived, on time, the restaurant was was very quiet lots of open tables and we got a good one by the window. I appreciated that the waitstaff asked us if we were going to a show, and what time it started. They're very aware most people are going to Lincoln Center and they can accommodate diners in a rush- we were not in a rush and that was good because our food took forever. Our waiter described a Linguini with clams special ... read more

We arrived at 6:00 for dinner on a Saturday evening before Lincoln Center to a bit of bedlam! Noise, tons of people, waiters and hosts rushing about. It looked like controlled chaos! However, we were seated on time and everything went perfectly. Food and drinks delivered in a timely fashion. They have a nice menu with many selections and the portions are HUGE! And the food is good. We had a great time and will certainly return.
