The reserved table (booth in fact) was ready when we arrived on time. The menu has more tempting items that anyone could order. The food was ideal, rather more hearty than chic. We had pizzas that were unique and delicious.
Great food. We ate outside and it was loud and the sun was on us. Still love this restaurant, just wouldn't eat outside again.
Excellente atmosphere as usual. Perfect service.
Extensive wine list is a plus. The salmon was exquisite as well as the duck. The side of potatoes was a bit dry. Service was top notch. Atmosphere though a bit noisy was pleasant and inviting. A return visit is a must.
We informed the waiter that we were trying to get to the theater at Lincoln Center. Although one of our party was late, he told us which dishes would take more or less time to prepare, and we followed his recommendations. The food was delicious and we made our performance with time to spare. Only criticism is that we asked for a quieter area and still got a fair amount of noise, but that is typical noise level for this restaurant. Great before going to Lincoln Center
The thing to get at this restaurant is the burrata with prosciutto, and of course the wonderful vegetable antipasti. It is perfect for pre- Lincoln Center:fast, easy, and convenient. My one complaint is that they were out of four of the six vegetables we had chosen for our antipasti. It was a typical crowded Thurs. night at a pre-theater time. Always a favorite of mine. I am always accommodated with a table. The staff is great!
Maitre D' was very welcoming. Lunch time was quiet. Food and service was excellent.
