This favorite place offers a wonderful antipasto bar in front and a great view of Lincoln Center activities. It is all about people, working the restaurant and enjoying the area. Even if not one might feel like a regular here.
We've been coming to Cafe Fiorello before the ballet for many years, and it is always good. Lately, the service has greatly improved--it's now efficient and friendly. The food has always been just fine, and it still is.
had a fine meal, but felt like I was on a economy flight. we had to move our table to let the people next to us out of their seats.

It was a busy evening across from Lincoln Center, but the service was excellent. It was timely, but not rushed. Our bronzino entrees were prepared perfectly.
The food was good, but the service was too, too slow. Had a 5:45 reservation. Got our entree after 7PM. No time for coffee, or dessert. Rushed to 8 PM show at Lincoln Center.
Excellent staff, service, excellent food, "judeo artichokes" are amazing. The veal Milanese is tender like butter - don't need a knife. Buratta is amazing. Great restaurant.
One entrée was very dry (veal Milanese) and had to be returned. The waitress was very accommodating and replaced it with another one at no additional cost. She was very aware of time, since we were going to a performance and made sure to let the kitchen know.
Lovely place for lunch. Dined there twice in the last month. The ambience is festive, the food very good and the service excellent. This time we ordered marinated vegetables (very good) and a salad with salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the portions ample. Our server took our special requests without missing a beat. We will be back again soon.
