Our group of five had dinner here after seeing "The King and I" at Lincoln Center. It was easy to communicate with each other at the nice round table where they seated us. Although as it got later and the restaurant filled up, the noise level was pretty loud. This is the only drawback at this restaurant across the street from Lincoln Center. My eggplant parmesan was delicious, presented beautifully, and just the right size. Everyone else loved their food, too. The chocolate mousse dessert is not to be missed! The service was... read more
Welcome was extraordinary . . . the maître d asked the tourist family in front of me whether or not they'd like the best table in the house. My welcome was equally pleasant. Wait staff attentiveness and attitude were great.
Hadn't eaten at Fiorello in a while. Had a late dinner with my husband and a friend. My husband ordered a plate of three antipasti, which he enjoyed. I thought the leeks were quite good, the other two ok. My friend and I shared the spaghetti carbonara, which was quite good and the veal piccata, which was not good at all (overcooked, tough veal, no taste of lemon - kind of a tasteless dish) -quite disappointing. Our original party was for six people . Four came on time and the other two brought two more - the maître 'd seated us next to one another with ease. Our waitress, Shana, was more than gracious and answered all our "Brunchie "questions. (all Italian.) When a minor mishap occurred, the manager was sooo accommodating and generous with special desserts and service- a must if you love brunch and service!!!! The "Italian breakfast all day" was my favorite.
This restaurant is very convenient for Lincoln Center events.
My wife and I had a 6:30 pre-theater reservation for an 8:00 performance at Lincoln Center. We were generally happy and got out in plenty of time (no dessert by our choice -- dessert menu very limited). Food good, not great; house wines very nice; a bit on the pricey side but overall better than okay. Good people-watching from a window side banquette.
The staff was very professional, and attentive. The food selection was great, and the food quality was outstanding. The wine list was good but a bit pricy. We have been there before and will go there again.
Lovely experience. Wonderful Tuesday night maitre 'd! and gracious waiter. Excellent dining experience.
The platters of piled-high vegetables, marinated vegetable dishes and chocolate bark " for the road scream" of excellence and customer attention. You are my go-to place at Lincoln Center and have made me look quite "fancy" to my friends and family.
