We asked for a quiet corner for dinner for four and they gave us a perfect table deep in a corner. Despite being out of view, the service was excellent and we never felt neglected. They got us out in time for our concert without ever making us feel hurried. The food, as always, was delicious, with special kudos to the artichokes alla Giudaea and the amazing extra-thin-crust pizza. Overall en excellent dining experience in every way.

Booked a pre-theater dinner before attending a show at Lincoln Center. When we were running late because of traffic, called the restaurant & they held our table until we arrived which was 20 minutes late. Waiter was great as he knew we needed to get to our show. Very crowded but very nice staff & food was good.

Deservedly popular - but that is the only real problem. Our table this time was a bit of a squeeze, and many voices (in French and German also in our area) surrounded us. This is an efficiently run restaurant. Both our steaks and wine were excellent; as they should be with a final tab including tip of $170 for two including starters and desserts. We have been there many times over several years. With such a volume, there has to be some variability, but the food itself has never been less than good and often outstanding.

Excellent service and very good food...yummy fish, vegetables, lemon tart...and their perifferoles are luscious. A lively place. Love the location: across from the Met Opera House.

December 27th was a very busy evening for Cafe Fiorello, it was packed (holiday crowd plus performances at Lincoln Center across the street) but the service and food were both excellent. It's the true test of a restaurant when it can maintain a high standard for quality when things get hectic.

I usually love fiorellos but this occasion was a bit disappointing. I shared the avacadp, mozzarella salad with my husband and it was one slice of tomato, 3 grape tomatoes, a teeny slice of avacado and a tablespoon of greens. There was a nice piece mozzarella but really couldn't they haven't made a more substantial salad? And it was not cheap . I can never get over the fact that most restaurants cannot make a great salad when it is the easiest and cheapest thing to do. I don't think there is any excuse. Sorry.
