Excellent menu with well prepared food. Great for pre-Lincoln Center dining. Service was outstanding. We shall dine here again.
Disappointed the salmon was supposed to be Alaskan Wild Salmon, but as a chef myself I know this was not the true color of wild salmon.
It's been some time since we've been to Fiorello, and while the appetizer bar is still spectacular, the entrees we had were adequate but not as well prepared as I recall. I ordered selections from the spring vegetable appetizer bar and the hot seafood antipasti as my entree. The eggplant parmesan was perfection, but the shrimp seemed rather dry, perhaps re-cooked, and calamari OK. The food is excellent, and the wines are very good. Love having antipasti as it isn't too heavy a meal before attending a performance at Lincoln Center.
I took my parents to this place last night because I loved it very much the last time I was here in March and we wanted to have a special last night in Manhattan. I could even order a dish that has not been on the menu in years, but was recommended to me from a friend! The only suggestion I would make is therefore, to put Linguine al Pescatore back on the menu! It was really delicious.
Before Lincoln Center or any time, Cafe Fiorello always pleases. There's a vibe in the restaurant that makes the place exciting. Rather "energetic" but they get you to your performance on time... huge portions of good food! Great for Lincoln Center right across the street and consistence.
What a pleasure to visit this popular restaurant and be treated well by all. The food -- prix fixe or a la carte -- was delicious and just the right size. We especially like the poached pear salad and fried artichokes as well as the usual cold antipasti. The spaghetti carbonara was much appreciated as well. Deserts looked dense but turned out to be delightfully light!
A great NY spot. The location is perfect for concert goers and the food is as good as any place in its price range. The staff is always welcoming and professional. The antipasto bar is a unique feature that you must try.
