Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

I had a reservation, yet was asked to "wait around bar area," until Host was "ready" to seat my party. I do not feel this was appropriate, since the Cafe was open and my reservation was for the time the party arrived. Other parties were taken in "ahead," who were "walk-ins." Long wait, till server arrived at our table and ricotta cheese was spoiled. Also, I requested a "table," upon making reservation, yet, was "offered" a booth. Host was not very welcoming. Although atmosphere was beautiful, food and service are slipping...... read more
Since the pizza was recommended my daughter and I shared a large pie. Delicious thin crust so we were both happy. My husband had the chicken paillard which literally the size of the plate. He thought it was good not great. Other daughters had mussels and bolognese. Both were happy. We did see 2 b list celebs. Do not recommend sitting in the back room it was very hot and cramped. Very convenient to Lincoln center so would definitely try again.
energenic atmosphere, good quality food. Pricey. and not any room to spare between you and the next person. Smallest rest rooms in NYC . I mean small.
A bit noisy with too many children around. The place is nice and the food is ok, especially the branzino. The bread is rather bad, but not as bad as the typical Italian bread you get at most Italian restaurants.
This is a great place to eat before the opera Saturday matinees. The food is fresh, good portion size and the service is fast. Lots of choices for a vegetarian. The prices have gone up noticeably over the last year but still well worth the price. If you like chocolate make sure to leave room for Two Buckets (not the actual name but they will know what you mean).. It can be noisy. The tables are a bit close.
If you are going to Lincoln Center........this would be the place to go. Right across the street. Can be noisy so if you go, request a table in the back, unless of course you prefer shouting.
The daily soup (Pasta Fagioli) was excellent but the veal marsala was a disappointment (cold quickly after being served, tough). My friend's seafood risotto was fantastic.
The food is dependable and the location makes it frequently crowded. Despite such our party of four was seated within three minutes of arrival. Of course, we had an Open Table reservation. It is pricy. The antipasto is delicious and the pizzas are phenomenal.
Fantastic. I keep coming back again and again. The service is impeccable given that this time around had to please my 3 and 1 year olds. Bravo!
