Our favorite place for dining before the opera. The food is always good and the atmosphere is bustling. Not a place for a romantic dinner or discussing anything important as the tables are very close, but would not hesitate to bring friends or a group.

I ran into traffic that made us a little late. I called the restaurant to notify them of my tardiness. A note was made on the reservation we would a late arrival. We arrived 6pm for a 5:45 reservation and were seated almost immediately. This on a Sat.

The pizza is always a great post-Lincoln Center bite; while always expensive, there is a buzz as the musicians and performers from LC straggle in, as well as West Side celebs. I called the restaurant (good to have mobile phone!) and told them the situation and th... read more

We regularly eat at Cafe Fiorello before attending matinée performances at the Metropolitan Opera. Because we travel from Philadelphia, we are sometimes late and I let them know we will be. The service has always been outstanding so that we are able to be served quickly and arrive at the Met on time. Food is always fresh and well prepared. We will continue to frequent the restaurant.

Excellent in every respect. Waiter was awesome! Food and drink is pricey, but you get what you pay for and the food was fabulous.
