Awesome
This is an established, low-key base for relaxation. Wifi was subpar, and we found it unusual that the front desk was closed from 7 to 10 AM The suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel pool and bar were excellent.
Exceptional
Great Value (price, location, amenities) with beautiful views but all day loud music spoils for some Loud music broadcast throughout grounds all day long (and even loud in my room with window shut). Even if I enjoyed the type of music being played (which I didn't) it is way too loud and constant (started before 9 AM and went on until late evening). Had a great time, food was great, coconut shrimp to die for and I am not usually a shrimp person. Floor had big gouges in them, very rough on the bare feet. We love the pool and rooms, however the floors need work in the rooms and the bathroom needs help as well.

CUTE spot with parking, restaurant and pool! We were bummed the brunch spot wasn’t open but Covid must have shut them down. I loved the vibe of Caliente Tropics! It was dated but clean with parking right out front, a delicious restaurant with a lovely staff and an awesome pool. It is also just a few minutes from downtown!
Very Good Bed was comfortable but there was no blanket. Just a sheet and a very thin bedspread. Music starts playing around 9:30 am but that's part of the vibe so it didn't bother us too much just something to be aware of Grounds were very fun and the pool was awesome. Restaurant was fun too. Great location-close to downtown
