Exceptional Room was a bit stuffy. Like many hotels, you can’t open the windows and the a/c unit was a bit noisy when it ran. Did not ruin my sleep I would stay here again. This hotel is an updated motor hotel from the sixties(?) maybe earlier. It has a charming Polynesian tiki theme. My room was clean, comfortable, very pleasant. I was upstairs. The shower was marble! Was very surprised

Nice hotel but I do NOT appreciate their dishonest room charge techniques! The hotel dishonestly hides a "resort fee" when booking. When handed the paperwork to sign in, I noticed that the "taxes" were in excess of 20%. I Know the hotel tax in Palm Springs is 12% because that's what I paid the first two nights I stayed in Palm Springs at a hotel two blocks up the street. When I asked the check-in clerk why their taxes are 20% when all the other hotels in town are 12% she gave me the runaround and a B.S. explanation about how... read more
