Excellent Needs a little updating. CT was very clean and perfect location for going to downtown Palm Spings & close to airport!
Sort of a slightly above average motel with some trees, grass and a pool in the middle. We had a corner room with a driveway on one side and parking directly in front of our room though we were on the second story The floor in our room was badly sloped towards one side. You lost your balance if you walked in the dark. Did not have breakfast. Pretty good shower. Photos of the property are deceptive. The hotel/motel is in town. Exceptional It shows there are movie nights on the lawn, but no schedule was posted. No elevators and having to carry my bags up and down steps. Comfortable, clean and relaxing environment.

Nice little getaway The rooms were dated and the pool/hot tub were not the cleanest. The location was a bit far out of the downtown area so you definitely need a car Caliente tropics is a great little hotel. It’s nothing fancy and could use an update but overall we enjoyed our stay. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed “the reef”
Good Definitely not a fan of the $100 security deposit; we checked out this morning, were told it would be removed by this pm and it‘s still showing on my Amex statement. We left the room in almost move-in condition. We’ve stayed at the Caliente Tropics twice now and the security deposit will definitely factor in our decision on where to stay on our next visit to Palm Springs.
