So far so good. This is a review after the second session. Everyone is super nice, patient and loves animals. They are clear and upfront about costs. Too early to say if the treatments are making improvements, but they seem knowledgeable so assume it's all good unless I post an update.
The staff at CARE are our guardian angels. When our Doxy had a spinal injury 4.5 months ago, she lost mobility in the lower half of her body and I really felt like my world was crashing down. Our lives suddenly and drastically changed-- our dog was in excruciating pain and like many other confused owners of dogs with IDD I initially thought I had to come up with $8k plus for MRI+ spinal surgery or lose my girl. I don't have words to express my gratitude for Dr. Welsh and the CARE team. During our stress and fear they showe... read more
Upon starting my first appointment, I had an issue with a discrepancy with the fees and it ended up with me leaving unhappy due to the fact that I wasn't made aware of the fees prior to the appointment. I did send an email to the "owner" With an exclamation of my visit and my experience. After which, within a day or two, I received a phone call from a representative at CARE inquiring about my appointment. I had a nice discussion with the person on the phone who listened to my experience and was very understanding and was ab... read more
Marley, my Bergamasco fell from a 3rd story building and suffered a spinal injury that caused paralysis of the right limbs. The hospital recommended CARE for his physical therapy treatment and we couldn't be happier with his improvements. He's standing and walking on his own and getting stronger every day. The staff at CARE is extremely kind and helpful. Marley really enjoys his visits to therapy.
We took our husky rescue here due to a limp and had a great experience. Dr. Waldman and the staff are extremely helpful, informative, and patient. They just were very genuine and caring towards our dog. Dr. Waldman knows what she's doing. They did acupuncture and that went super smooth. Overall, great experience!
CARE is a wonderful facility. I've brought both our pups here - one for her CCL surgery post op acupuncturex 2 and rehab, the other for treatment on his disk disease and arthritis. The team takes a good amount of time to assess on the first visit explain everything that is going on with your fur kids and make sure you understand your options. Prices run the gamut as befitting a specialist Vetrinarian outfit and pending what you need they try to offer less expensive options when it is feasible or could have a good result. ... read more
I didn't know what to expect, but decided to give this place a try! My German Shepherd, Pepper has been experiencing a weak hind leg. I found Dr. Polkowski to be very helpful and thorough during the examination. She customized a physical therapy program for Pepper, which we will practice at home. All of the therapy assistants were helpful and so kind and warm to my dog. Pepper immediately felt comfortable, and I will return for ongoing treatments.
CARE was a wonderful rehab center for my dog. My dog had spinal neurological surgery, and they developed a comprehensive rehab plan and carried it out with care and love. I was updated 5-6 times weekly by the staff who were always warm, caring, and professional when I came into visit my dog. When I wanted to speak the supervising vet, I always received a call-back within the hour. If my dog got sick (this is only a rehab facility), they notified me and was able to recommend a nearby high quality vet hospital to take my d... read more
My dog has been going there for a couple of months now after having back issues and could hardly walk. The team are so compassionate and patient with the animals and really work hard to get our fur babies feeling good. Happy to say that my little Yorkie is now walking great with we will continue to go see this lovely team as often as needed to ensure the mobility continues.
