I brought my dog here, because, well, he's an older fella and seemed a little achy. I was also looking for a place to board him where he wouldn't re-injure anything. I realized that the kind of activity he gets in non cage boarding places could lead to injuries, that at his age could be more serious. I knew that he had some spine problems and a herniation in his neck, but I didn't know how much pain he was in until I got an assessment. The vet took a lot of time to look over ALL of his vet records, of which there were man... read more
I've been bringing my dog here for couple years . He had pain radiating from his elbow. Tried everything else with no relief. Poor guy was in severe pain. After 3 months he started to show improvements. After 6 months he was off meds and enjoying life. He was down to once a month treatments (dr had advised me he may need treatment for life) then he jumped over a baby gate and tore his ACL. He started back with weekly treatments and they saw him through to recover for that without surgery. Expert staff, exceptional doctors w... read more
Please, take your dog here! The vets and therapists at C.A.R.E. Saved my dog Elliot's quality of life. He's a 14 year old chihuahua with a slipped disc in his neck. He had surgery years ago that worked but then it came back on another disc and it got to the point that he was crying out in severe pain and couldn't move. His pain meds were no longer working. We almost did a second surgery but were wary about his age and his heart murmur, and putting him through all that again. If you are on this page because you are worried ab... read more
Dr. O'Neil has been amazing with my dog who's developed neurological problems and is having trouble with her hind legs, and is developing arthritis in her front legs and shoulders. The Physical Therapy has helped her regain muscle mass and we've learned exercises and therapies we can do at home to help her regain stability and strength. The team has been great to deal with!
My dog tore a ligament and was told by our vet she would need surgery ASAP ( at a cost of $7000-$10,000 , plus the possibility that it could probably happen again) - so I went on Google to look for surgeons in my area and stumbled across CARE - after reading all the reviews on here I discovered that there may be an alternative option to an operation. So we came along for a consultation and was given a little bit of hope so signed up for a course. And now, just like many of the other reviewers in here , I cannot sing their p... read more
This is a miracle of a place. Dr. Pilkowski and Jen are so cool!!! Our 14 yr old min pin wasn't walking one month ago! Now he's back to being his old puppy self!!! Amazing place, caring and loving. I trust them 100% with my pups.
Everyone at CARE has been wonderful in caring for my baby girl, Bella. They take the time to explain each exercise, why it needs to be done, and confirming I'm comfortable doing them at home. You can tell everyone here truly loves animals!
I've been putting off writing this review for a few reasons. First of all, pretty much every review they already have is five stars, which makes me seem like a total grouch (I promise I'm not). Second of all, I typically avoid reviewing anything unless I only have good things to say, but I technically still owe them a review for the free ice pack they gave me at my first appt, so here goes. First I have to say that overall, the vets and therapists here seem extremely competent and caring, I especially loved our dog's regu... read more
Business response:
First and foremost, I apologize for your dissatisfaction with our services; we strive to give everyone the same five-star experience reported by so many of our clients. I would like to extend the offer of a complimentary re-check with a veterinarian. I would be grateful to be able to remedy your concerns; if you are interested, please call the front desk to schedule. While we do have a high case load, please do not midjudge the size of our clientele for lack of quality care. As the only facility in Los Angeles utilizing a... read more
This center has been amazing in helping Lola recover from her spine injury and in helping us understand more about it. Everyone is caring and professional and genuinely interested in helping her improve. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice in coming here.
