I was apprehensive about finding a dentist after I moved from NC where I had great dental professionals. My apprehension was put to ease after my first visit to the C.L. Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. The staff from reception to hygienist to Dr Shaack are great and pleasant to speak with. Dr Shaack has gone over and above my expectations. He has taken an interest in my dental situation and also my medical situation. I had an infection on the left side of my face. Great knowledgeable friendly staff. Teresa excellent as always. Hygienist very thorough and explains everything before doing it. Likewise for Dr. Schaak who was gentle and caring. Dental assistant who helped in my case was excellent. Highly recommended. My only advice is know something about your patients before you work on them. It creates a cozy friendlier athmosphere. J. I was very pleased how my appointment turned out resetting a loose cap on my tooth. The doctor was very good at his work and he always wanted to keep me informed with what was going on and was able to take care of it completely in no time at all and very affordably. I sure do like Canyon Lake family and cosmetic dentistry
