The rehab team at this facility is awesome. My uncle recently stayed here for rehab and they got him to walk out of the facility with a cane after having hip surgery. Very attentive, knowledgeable and caring rehab staff. Nursing staff were attentive when he needed assistance and were on top of taking care of his wounds. Activities were also lively and exciting for patients who attended. I've never seen a facility where their activity room is packed with patients. Love the people at Canyon Springs who care for the residents who stay there. It is a great place with caring staff and fun residents. Great location, right across the hospital.

This review is for Chris Mendoza, the director of maintenance at the Canyon Springs Acute Care facility. He has done an excellent job maintaining the facility around the clock, making it pleasant and clean for the patients. He is constantly touching up the paint, keeping the patios spotless, and making it fresh and welcoming for the residents and visiting family to lounge with their loved ones. My mom was admitted to this Facility on Jan. 9, 2020 from a stroke. Her Dr was trying to send her to another Facility for acute and rigorous PT. Since Canyon Springs was across the street from the hospital she was at we chose Canyon Springs for PT and Family support. To make a long story short my mom was able to come home on Jan. 20, 2020. I know NOTHING about medication or health insurance, but dad got ill & mom barely knows any English, forcing me to learn all of this stuff on the fly. Case Manager, Rolly, has been VERY helpful & patient, guiding me through all of this.

The personnel at canyon springs are Great with the patients here I had no problems when I was staying here they take good care of the patients here

Canyon made appointment with a close by suture remove clinic 2 weeks ago for my mom, I was told about this appointment by the clinic(they need me sign paperwork) the night before. Appointment is 8:45am, Canyon said will send my mom to the clinic at 8:15am. I arrived at clinic at 8:20am to sign, but my mom still not there. At 8:40am the clinic called Canyon warning there will be only 10 min late window, if patient not show up at 8:55am, they will cancel and reschedule. I will given 0 stars my Dad was staying at Canyon for rehabilitation to walk again after a brain infection he stop eating keep telling the nurse that my dad had a fever and a rash on his stomach and they said they will call the doctor and they couldn't give no medication cause they need a doctor to authorize any medication 3 days pass my father had a high fever still I had to call the ambulance cause they keep saying that it was normal because he was taking antibiotics. there was also another patient that her son call the am... read more
