RecommendedThe veternarians, and staff are wonderful. They are caring and compassionate. They helped us through a very difficult situation with one of our dogs. The only downside is they have a very full client list and sometimes it's hard to get an appointment when you have an immediate or urgent need of help, but I think this is the situation everywhere in Carlsbad. Sheila always does her best to work you in.

This is a great vet. I love the Paw Plans. But ever since Covid…. We cannot get them to answer the phone or return phone calls. We leave a message and don’t hear back. Customer service just needs a little help lately. Idk if it’s just hard to get good help in their office right now or what… But it is so hard to actually get a hold of them and talk to them. We love this place…. But sheesh. It’s getting a little ridiculous. If we ever get in and get a chance to talk, we know they will do a phenomenal job.

Thank you for the feedback, Serina. COVID has had a huge impact on veterinary care everywhere. Demand has increased while staffing (for office staff, techs, and doctors) have all decreased. More people have adopted or rescued pets during the last 16 months than the veterinary world can keep up with! Clinics are booked out for weeks in advance. The phones never stop ringing. Everyone here is very courteous and helpful. Came to our car and took care of out babies. A different world we live in now. But we make it work!!

Carlsbad Animal Clinic is great with my little Tia. They always ask if there is any other problems they need to address. Even with this covid where you can't go in the Vet will personally call you to inform you of what she did and ask if you have any questions. All staff are very friendly.
