RecommendedMy toy Aussie was attacked by a coyote. We were fortunate to have Dr. Castro at Carlsbad Animal Clinic to fix him up. I can’t thank her, nor her husband enough for taking care of us after hours. 5 drains, 5 incisions, a handful of sutures and 3 days later I was able to report we were LUCKILY and THANFULLY on the mend.

RecommendedWe were hunting near Carlsbad and staying at Brantley Lake when one of our dogs became extremely ill. We called Carlsbad Animal Clinic and they made room for us as a "walk-in" patient without an appointment. We arrived at the office during the lunch hour and when Dr Mills saw us waiting in the parking lot, she came out to the car to check out the situation. RecommendedThey are compassionate, sadly we had to put our Lefty down. They understood that to me he is/was not a dog but my son. So decided to take Bella for her wellness check up. The only sad part is that they don't give a welcome packet or anything. Other than that they are great. We are new to the area in Carlsbad, so I think they are okay.
RecommendedI absolutely love this clinic and the entire staff. I've been bringing my fur babies here for over 25 years. I have seen some great vets retire from here and great vets have been brought in to carry on great care, compassion for the animals they treat and the humans who bring them in I love Dr. Mills and Dr. Castro I don't know if there is any other new vets there but if so I'm sure I'll love them top
