We're very happy with how things have gone with Cascade Inn! The staff are all very friendly, and the facility itself is clean and well kept. They've provided everything my loved one has needed! It is a big weight off of my mind knowing that she is somewhere that she feels safe and secure.
For what we signed up for, the care is good. I think they're doing a pretty good job. My parents seem happy there. The overall value is the best out there, price-wise. They have all kinds of activities - cards, field trips, movies, music, sing-a-longs. They've got lots of stuff going on everyday. The food is alright. I'd give the food a three.
I would let people know that you have to private pay for 3 years which seems like a long time when there is other facilities that are less. What I liked is that all their beds are licensed for assisted living so that when you got to that level of care you didn't have to move. I felt that the care wasn't up to the price we paid.

I have relatives who live here. Many of the residents have gotten food poisoning in the last few weeks. This is the only place most of the residents eat. It’s concerning. There is a lack of help for some of these people

rooms were in need of updating..
I must say the people that run this are very nice and helpful however the food leaves a lot to be desired. The menu has not changed for 4 months, The food in the past has always been very good but lately it's terrible. When one orders a fish and baked potato and the potato comes on the plate with black hard skin that cracks like glass when you try to cut it and the coleslaw was forgotten when I asked for it it came to the table cabbage and no dressing on it we were told the cake was lemon and it was banana. Overpriced Staff don't adequately encourage my mom to engage in activities Very much about the money - Deceptive information given when we made choice to move in; hardly anyone my mom's age despite being told otherwise Mom had far better care and amount of care provided for way lower price before. The place is dingy and has been being remodeled for a long time. I went to help a very nice woman today and was appalled. I really do not want to get into specifics but if you have someone staying here please be around to help them. LOOK<SMELL
