The store is great- customer service was horrible. My husband was trying to check out and 2/4 people behind the counter were just chatting. Then we get to check out & the young woman ringing us up was talking to her coworker about what to eat for dinner & completely ignoring us. Then the woman she was speaking with had her shoes off & was just talking non stop about being without shoes on. All while not engaging with the paying customer at all. Staff here is top tier. I’m from Michigan but I drive a truck OTR. Cavenders has been consistently recommended to me for work boots, but I’d kind of gotten discouraged by other stores. As a female, work boots that are western style are incredibly hard to find. However, Diane took her time and went above and beyond and was incredibly patient with finding some tiny men’s boots so I could actually get more options than the 4 women’s options for work boots. My local friends talked me very well about this shop, and I could not resist to go in. Amazing offer of western clothes, and friendly staff. Very clean facilities and very well organized by items. Loving the original dressing rooms! Got several stuff with reasonable price value.
Brought in a straw hat here to have reshaped from a cattleman to a brick top and even brought one of my felts in to give an example of how I like them. Of course reshaping a straw usually takes a little more time and can be a bit more complicated so I made sure to ask for the guys Zelle beforehand so he knew I was willing to give him a little extra for his time. This Cavender's is always so clean and the staff are so helpful ☺️ There is a wide variety of men's, children's, and women's boots! There is also clothes for everyone in the family! There are a few nice home accessories to choose from as well. Candles, perfumes, blankets, mugs, car fresheners, etc. There are nice and roomy fitting rooms as well.
