With all the horror stories of the dreaded root canal Dr. Arens was able the perform the procedure painlessly and explained the steps and shared x-rays. Overall they were able to help make the best of the situation.
Who would have thought that the root canal would have been the least painful part of my week! I have had plenty of dental work and root canals and this was the easiest appointment I have ever had. The doctor was exceptional and I never even felt a twinge of pain. I will never fear root canals again.

I have had the pleasure of having my root canals (yes plural) done this year by Dr. Steven Smith and I can say unequivocally that he is the best in the business! The manner in which he cares for his patients is remarkable. Dr. Smith put his patients at ease, and ensures that pain management throughout the procedures and the after care is outstanding! Dr. Smith and Tammy were friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable during the entire visit.. Dr. Smith kept me informed of the progress of the procedure. Followup question to their office staff were helpful.
Dr Poulos and staff are just great. They got me in right away to be evaluated and did the root canal that day. They made me feel comfortable asking if I was ok. Dr Poulos even sang to music that was playing. I than had to go back to see why I still had pain he suggested a night guard which I just got ..
Dr. Arens completed my root canal a week ago. This was my first procedure with him but I have had 3 previous root canals. I could not believe how quickly the procedure was completed. Most importantly, it was completely painless. I will absolutely return to Dr. Arens for any future endodontic work. The office was easy to locate and all staff was caring and efficient. I feel grateful to have been referred here!
This is the second time the V.A. has referred me to Central Ohio Endodontics. I am pleased to say that on both occasions I was treated with the professional care and respect every patient prays for. Dr. Smith took the time to ensure I was well medicated and personally followed to make sure everything was going well after the procedure. Dr. Smith and his staff were absolutely amazing! I was anxious as I had never had a root canal and found out that I needed not one, but two! Dr. Smith explained every step of the procedure to me, putting me at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith and his staff.
