Worst doctor I have ever been to. He rushed through the appointment and acted like I was stupid everytime I asked a question. Looked in my ears for not even a 1/4 of a second and told me there was nothing he could do, that nothing was wrong. If I can't hear out of one of my ears and there a constant ringing and buzzing noise for the past week and a half there is obviously something wrong. From the time I sat down on the room I was there a total of about 8 minutes before Dr.Pena was walked me out
Worst "specialist" appointment ever with Dr Scoresby.. 6 minutes isn't nearly long enough to assess, diagnose, and treat a patient, which is all the time I was granted. Diagnosed with vertigo years ago, I was told I needed to "retrain my brain" to think that the movement I'm feeling is normal and do "physical therapy" of the mind. I have never felt so patronized and denigrated in a doctor's office before. Here's your hat and what's your hurry mentality. Don't waste your money.
Terrible, my 1st appt he told me to come back for two tests. The computer system "lost everything" is what I was told when trying to make the appointments to have the tests. They promised to call me the next day. It's now over a week, I've left three messages actually begging for a return call but still, no call. I don't think there are words to describe how I feel about being ignored. I've had to start over with another dr.
I have never met anyone (retail clerks etc) less pleasant than this doctor. He sort of defied me to say what was wrong and quickly dismisses having a balance problem as at all being related to my ears. He quickly suggested a neurologist almost immediately after I explained my symptoms. I could accept his diagnosis if it seemed there was some reflective thought and consideration. But it was "You are wasting my time, get out of here". I have not experienced this attitude anywhere else.
What a total waste of my time and my insurance! I had two physicians in 8 days verify an ear drum rupture and he stated I did not have one. I went to this facility because I have fluid that is driving me crazy and he basically told me I was misdiagnosed twice and nothing was wrong. I am miserable, his bedside manner was to look at me as if I had four heads while i was trying to explain what I was feeling...I left feeling defeated and I still cannot hear out of my dang ear with all the fluid!
The practice will not give test results over the phone; therefore, you must make another appointment and pay the charge for another office visit to receive results. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time for Dr. Scoresby to come to the exam room to tell me he didn't know what was wrong. He did take a few minutes to guess at a couple of possibilites and his last two words to me after he shook my hand were "Good Luck."
He dismissed the reason that I came to see him (ear problems) once he saw my enlarged tonsils that I have had my entire life and have not caused me any problems. All he wanted to discuss was tonsil surgery even though I have no medical reason to have them out.
Incompetent. Prescribed a patient with low BP a diuretic med & then said that she didn't know the patient had low BP. As a physician, BP is a part of BLS & should always be checked. Even most dental hygienist check before teeth cleanings, so why would you not before prescribing a med? Upon revisiting to change meds, Dr. Gibbs couldn't recount giving med & had to ask the patient what it was. Unprofessional & unprepared. Also had to schedule appts in person bc calls (6X) never go through.
Our experience at this office was so bad that all my husband and I could do was laugh once we got home. This review isn't all based on the doctor but the entire staff and the overall experience at the office. We visited the office after receiving a referral from my son's pediatrician. This was our first time to an ENT doctor, we didn't know what to expect and no one at the office was forthcoming to offer information or make us feel comfortable. There is no way we would be back.
