I had purchased a big deal from Certified Electric last year and never got around to using it. Even though due to my delay it was marked as an expired deal, they did not hesitate to honor it! As for the actual work, it went extremely smooth. I had to reschedule the initial visit I had set up and that was no problem at all for their support staff. On the day of the work, the technician called about 30 minutes prior to showing up (as promised by their scheduler) and completed the work quickly and efficiently. The technicia... read more
the electrician arrived promptly & got right to work. He carefully explained everything he was doing, answered my questions & was very positive. I continue to be pleased with the fan, there have been no problems. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.
They were great and I had a very positive experience with them.
Everything went well. They showed up when they said they would did the work requested and cleaned up afterwords. They followed up by phone and card in the mail to see if everything was done to our satisfaction. It was! I have recommended them to a neighbor as well. I purchased this on one of the deals-- 2 hours of electrical work for I believe sixty nine dollars.
A kitchen outlet was intermittent on Sunday before going dead on Monday. I traced the line back to the fusebox and a good fuse but could not find the problem. We phoned CET on Monday and got an appointment for Tuesday. A repairman called ahead before arrival on Tuesday. He found a second receptacle with a faulty GFCI outlet over a sink, connected to the dead line. He replaced the GFCI unit and both lines were again powered. The repair took about 45 minutes. I used a discount coupon from a prior CET job to reduce the... read more
Service was really good, the cost ended up being below the phone estimate. The electrician was very fast.
Dale arrived early and quickly got right to work. He provided his insight on best placement of fan, when asked. He was clean and neat. He had to make a run to Home Depot which took him <30 minutes, including the drive. He provided excellent service. At the end of the job, he walked us through the free 10-point inspection and made one recommendation. I would use CET again and again.
I was quoted $135 for them to look at the wiring. This would have been a 5 minute job for someone to look at it and tell me, "Yes, that's just fine" or "No, you're going to have to have it rerouted and that can be done either by adding/replacing ... or ..." Although I was expecting a service call charge, I was expecting something more in the $75 range for this. I may still consider them for any actual work, but $135 for an expert opinion is just a but too much to swallow.
They did a pretty good job. Everything was fixed and they were timely.
