I had two outlets that were not working, one in a bathroom and one outside on the back side of my house. David, the electrician assigned to my job, replaced both with new GFI outlets. I called CET on a Friday and Steve took my call, asking me appropriate questions about what I needed to be done and answering my own questions to my satisfaction. I wanted a ceiling fan / light in my master bedroom, but didn't have an outlet box in the ceiling. The service performed was to install an electrical outlet/box in my ceiling for connecting a fan, while making sure that box could operate from the light switch already installed in the bedroom. The technicians replaced the ceiling fan in our master bedroom. The technicians put together the new fan that we purchased for our bedroom. They did a great job installing the new one. They cleaned up afterwards and were quick and speedy.

Technician checked an outlet that looked unsafe, spiced copper wire to aluminum and used purple wire nuts. Checked another outlet of concern. We bought a new stove but could not get it installed because some piping had to be fixed first. There was also an electric outlet that needed to be checked behind the stove. I mentioned to Certified Electrical that I needed a technician to come out as soon as possible. They did recess lighting in my kitchen and they changed out the surge protector outlets. I did get them from Angie’s List and they were awesome. They were very good. They were responsive and they got there very quickly. I called a bunch of people, I needed them at a certain time because I had the next thing going and they came. The guy gave us recommendations, he was efficient, and he cleaned up. He was great. The price seems reasonable but I haven’t compared them.

Thank you for a nice review and allowing us to perform the 10 Point Safety Inspection. As we let you know in our report, the only safety issue is that you need additional Smoke Detectors in your home. There needs to be at least 1 detector on each level in the common (hall) area. New construction requires that detectors be installed in every bedroom as well.
