David, the Electrical Service Technician, removed my old bath vent fan and replaced it with a new one that I had purchased. Everything went smoothly. He arrived on time. He covered his feet and provided the service. I have used CET in the past. They did a great job then, and it was a great job this time.

Verified all receptacles were either grounded or GFCI-protected (to satisfy home buyer's property inspection request). Replaced a faulty GFCI receptacle. Electrician was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He checked everything easily & quickly, and he also replaced a GFCI receptacle with a new one that I had purchased (and therefore only charged for labor). He was knowledgeable about how the wiring can be in older homes and explained things clearly.

Replaced a broken light switch, repaired a recessed lighting fixture, installed three smoke alarms on existing base plates, inspected existing CO detector. Certified Electrical Technologies scheduled my appointment within three days of my call (after my regular electrician said he could get to me in about six weeks). Installed recess lights Purchased through Big Deal. Estimated that additional lights may be required and service provider informed that it would be no problem in bringing along extras lights. Chuck the technician showed up on time and worked with me to determine exact number of lights required. Electrical safety evaluation (panel, outlets, fire alarms, GFI, etc.). No problems. Service technician was very polite, answered questions, and gave suggestions on the items that should be fixed and those that "could" be fixed. No hard sale or anything.
They replaced a switch and installed two surge protectors on the main fuse boxes for the house.
Installed whole house surge protection. This was a "Big Deal" for whole house surge protection. The job was scheduled and completed very efficiently, on time and in good order. Very pleased!
