My mother and I went for Mother's day. We loved the food and the ambiance, but it was a bit busy, making it noisy. Nevertheless, we had fun and the food was delicious! The managers, servers, and waiters were friendly, and we had a great time!
Had alot of fun trying all the cuts of meat. They treated my date great. Would definitely do it again.
As always, the food and service was amazing. It made my Mother’s Day celebration that much more special.
When you go, expect a wait of at least an hour. The salad bar is really nice, just need to remember not to eat too much. Very loud, we found ourselves speaking loudly across the table to one another. The wait staff was very friendly & knowledgeable about the mix drinks at the bar. The food was tasty. We were celebrating Mother’s Day early. Our waiter was excellent even though he seemed to have quite a few tables to deal with. The food was very delicious but it didn’t appear that the meat selections were very many and they were a lot slower coming to our table as I remember from a prior visit. Nonetheless, this is an experience that everyone should try at least once and I consider this particular restaurant to be the favorite compared to the other Brazilian steakhouses located here in San Antonio.
My husband and I are frequently in San Antonio and make plans to visit Chama Gaucha as often as possible. We have gone alone or taken friends and family - - everybody loves this restaurant. From its outstanding service to the wonderful salad bar and perfectly prepared meat on a Brazilian skewer offerings, you just cannot go wrong at this restaurant. It is always an excellent culinary adventure over here.
